The One:12 Collective welcomes Dr. Fate, the most powerful heroic sorcerer on Earth.
The One:12 Collective Dr. Fate wears a fitted bodysuit underneath his fortified light-up chest armor, a leather-like cape with integrated posing wire, a leather-like tasset, and knee-high boots. The Master of Magic comes complete with two head portraits including a Helmet of Fate portrait with light-up eyes and an unmasked Kent Nelson portrait. An additional Helmet of Fate is included that can be held.
Dr. Fate proves his magical prowess is unmatched, complete with three different magic projection effects that attach to his wrist-mounted posing post and the Book of Thoth, a magic tome containing dangerous spells. The Book of Thoth can open and close, features real paper pages, and comes with an additional wrist-mounted posing post.
Harnessing magical powers older than the beginning of human civilization, Dr. Fate has been defending the side of light since the days of ancient Egypt. If there is a supernatural power that threatens to engulf planet Earth, rest assured that Dr. Fate will be at the ready.

Golden Age Perfection!
Mezco has done a great update on the character by keeping his Golden Age look but updating the costume to a modern aesthetic without radically changing the look of this classic character. The inclusion of the Egyptian elements is great as it pulls in the origin and story elements of Dr. Fate. The light-up feature is just killer and the first of it's kind in any Dr. Fate action figure. The accessories, as always are numerous and fit the character well. The conjuring effects are a highlight. The included flight stand is a great bonus as it also fits the characters look and powers.
This is a superb addition to the One12: Collective line and I hope he's just the first of many JSA characters that we get in the line.

Getting this figure is FATE
Dr. Fate has always been one of my favorite DC Characters. Figure wise, he was always pretty well served, at least, I thought so, up until today, when I got the Mezco One:12 Dr. Fate. Whatever came out in the past is the past, and this Dr. Fate is the only future I'm going to need! Mezco once again applies their One:12 sensibilities to an iconic character, and the world is a better place for it. Tons of great accessories, and Dr. Fate comes to us today with one of his most ornate looks to date (that chest / shoulder piece!). The crafting of the chest armor is absolutely outstanding here. No detail spared
Light up chest and eyes both look very pretty, but if I'm being honest, not as bright as I'd hoped
Getting the batteries in, they are super tiny and the piece is delicate, be careful! tweezers if needed!
Love it when the cape features a posing element, Dr. Fate's cape has that!
Exceptionally detailed Kent Nelson face is Kent Nelsony!
The blue of the uniform is just bright and explosive
And against the gold, which is shimmery and perfect, this is a complete figure!
The box art is striking, captures the good Doc in iconic fashion, I will say though, the box art features what appear to be less ornate shoulders than the end figure, and it has me hoping we will see a more classic look Dr. Fate in the One:12 line as well!

DC Fans need Dr. Fate. This is an absolute. He's one of the coolest characters in their arsenal, and Mezco, with One:12 knocks it completely out of the park. This character is done up in a way that he's never been before and he's a must have because of it, and for all of the other right reasons! Mezco brings the Magic here and the end result is near perfection!

Kastor's Korner Live Toy of the Day 136- Mezco One:12 DC Comics Dr. Fate
I have to say this is an impressive figure. From the colors to the accessories the newest Mezco figure hits all the 80’s kid feels. I have liked all the figures in the Mezco One:12 line to this point but none have made me want keep them out of the box. I don’t have the room for a big set up so for now they all live in their boxes, but Dr. Fate might need to find a place behind me on the shelves. Check out the full review and gallery!
